Description

Red Afghans (Aqchae) are the classic Afghans with usually two shades of red and black or very dark blue and these rugs are ideal for older houses and minimalist decor. In recent years these designs have been produced in Natural and undyed wools which results in fashionable grey tones.

The rugs produced are influenced by old Afghan Balouch, Bokhara, Samarqand, Old Uzbek, Suzani, Sultanabad, Zieglers, Khotans, Indian Agras, Moguls and many Ottoman textiles.
